*Pulls out jumper cables* Looks like the Role Play boards have fallen into *cough* disrepair. So, I have decided to make a new roleplay, hopefully lasting as long as or longer than the last one. *leaves blow by* Truth is, I miss RPing too freakin' much to take it any longer so here goes!
Time: Early Morning, around 5 AM - Early school days (most of the Eons are at the school/safehouse already, most of them have arrived about a week ago.
Place: The Eon Institute/School
Acquaintances: Most of us have seen each other around, but don't know all that well (except for those who knew each other outside of the safehouse)
Past Events: Kaito "escapes" and is drawn to the safehouse due to large amounts of Eclipse, the safehouse goes commercial out of beta testing.
*Begin Post* Kaito slowly rose from the patch of leaves that was his makeshift bed, and stretched his many legs, one by one. It was still early but he would have to sneak in while it was still dark. There was eclipse was here, he was sure of it. And where there's eclipse, there was Roth. He climbed up the nearest tree, his claws clicking heavily against the bark, stirring up a flock of birds. He looked though the branches at the dull building. He had surveyed the area for the past several days, and he had found a weakness. He had spotted a small air vent that could be used to slip in on the top.
He jumped down from the tree, rolling out of his fall and quickly sneaking up to the large fence that surrounded the grounds. They hadn't opened the gates yet, so he easily climbed the fence and dropped onto the other side. There weren't many guards, and one was asleep, crumpled against the side of the building. Foolish human. He wasn't worried about them, he was more concerned with not being spotted by the two cats that incessantly stood guard. He hid behind some bushes were he could see the shadow cat through the branches.
It wasn't long before the first rays of morning sun burst out over the peaks and the night guard went inside to wake his counterpart. Kaito leaped up onto the wall and dug his claws in, making slow progress due to the walls being cement. He finally dragged his bulk over onto the roof and ran to get out of sight. He would wait here until the Eons swarmed the building, making all to much of a distraction.

(Hooray, I miss the RPG too. We didn't really go anywhere with that huh? Oh wells. Hopefully this lasts longer then.)
Riley was sound asleep, encased in a cocoon of sheets and snoring quite loudly, much to the disapproval of her roommates. She hadn't slept in a real bed her whole life before coming to this Eon safehouse and hell did she ever like it. Though she didn't mind the floor or grass, the old, tarted mattress seemed almost angelic compared to some other places she's had to sleep before. The alarm clock would go off soon but for now sat silently on the nightstand between the two beds and her PAD lay next to it.
Riley didn't have a wide variety of clothes or personal items for that matter. She arrived at the facility's gates with nothing more than a stolen backpack filled with a few important items and a horrifically injured wolf pup, whom she had rescued, named Kama. In fact, it was because of Kama that she decided to come here. Riley wouldn't be able to look after the poor thing forever and she really needed some professional help. Normal doctors or vets would be useless and not to mention unwilling to lift a finger but she heard that this Eon safehouse had a pretty good medical ward. But the benefits of staying here were absolutely phenomenal, it was almost too good to be true.
(Btw, PADs are those communication/palm pilot devices that you receive when you enter the safehouse)

(What be this? A new RP? BRILLIANT!)
Thadius felt the sun rise and his powers weakening. Time to go in, he thought, and wake up my counterpart.
Slowly the cat walked inside, wound his way through the many halls, and found Apogee's room. "Mrow" he meowed. Apogee moved a little bit, but quickly settled again. Thadius then moved towards the window shade and pulled the string all the way down, letting a large beam of light fall directly on Apogee.
Apogee bolted upright at the feeling of power coursing through him, knowing that it was now his turn to watch over the school. He quickly looked at his window, where he saw that the little black cat had the cord in his mouth. "Thanks, my friend," Apogee whispered. Thadius looked pleased with himself, and then the light hit his head, causing him to pass out. Apogee rapidly got dressed and cleaned before heading to the library. Then he calmed himself and shut down his normal senses.
Once he had cut himself off from the normal world, he tapped his powers, and the school grounds opened up to him. Unfortunately, all the kids still had traces of Eclipse in them, which Thad and himself were doing their best to fight. But it is rather hard to fight something that absorbs everything that you throw at it. Apogee was just about to start his daily regimen of trying new things to the Eclipse when he sensed something.
Whoa. That's...that's a being made of Eclipse. This is important. I should...aw, crud, he's unconscious, and Shyria probably is as well. Meaning I have to go confront who -or what- ever this thing is.
Apogee reconnected with his body and got up from his seat, and then proceeded to walk in the direction of the thing he had sensed. He started to slowly whisper 'Come out, come out, wherever you are...' in the vain hope of tempting it into the open.

(guess I'll give it a try)
Draga muttered sleepily as she shuffles through a empty hallway, she really hated the night duty. Nothing exciting ever happen at nighttime, it’s the same boring route every time she gets the night duty.
Note to self- Avoid trouble with Rauch whenever possible! It was all that bonehead's fault she got the night duty. But of course, part of it was her fault, she was too caring for those other Eons that Rauch were harassing that she stood up for them and got in yet another fight with Rauch. Every fight with that idiot always landed her before Donnel Rodriquez, the scientist they both work under and the one who determines the punishment for their careless action. Rauch got the 24 hours in solitary confinement when Draga got the night duty.
Sunrise was only moments away, Draga was looking forward to an end of her night duty but at the same time, despites going another day without any sleep. Oh well, she has done it plenty of times before and survived insomnia, so there’s nothing she can do but to tolerate with it and avoid any trouble.
Draga stretched before heading to the cafeteria for some breakfast.

(Yaaaay! It's been..."Eons" since anyone has rped! *lolz!* ....Aaaahhh ok I'll cut the cheezy jokes. D: ) A young and poor helpless wolf pup laid beside Riley. Her breathing was a bit short but seemed to be in a some what good condition. A sudden growl came from the empty stomach of the pup as she hasn't eaten in almost a month. Her tiny white ears perked a bit and she slowly opened up her eyes, but she ignored the growling of her stomach and slowly allowed herself to drift off to sleep again. Unfortantly the pup's stomach wouldn't allow her to go back to her sleep again and with a small and cute yawn, the white pup lifted her head up at Riley and slowly wagged her tail to greet her friend.

Once Kaito heard the rumble of Eons below him as they flooded the hallways of the school, he opened the vent and smoothly slid down the shaft, landing and the bottom with a resounding boom. He winced at the sound. Note to self: Air ducts are loud and hard to sneak in. He could hear traffic around him stop with every step he took, wondering what was making such noises and where it was comming from. There was a four way split in the vents, and he took the left path. It led to a dormitory where a few sleeping Eons were in bed, one of which was a dog with a small winged wolf pup asleep next to it. No good. Kaito backtracked to the right tunnel and found an empty classroom. Perfect. He kicked the vent cover off and caught it before it hit the floor as he slipped out. This was definitely a strange classroom. There was some normal stuff, but most of it rubbed him the wrong way. Take the tranquilizer gun shoved hastily into the drawer in the teacher's desk for example. It was loaded, and the capsules filled with a sinister dark purplish semisolid that was unmistakably Eclipse. He didn't like this place. This school was not the happy Eon haven it was made to be. He had to find out what was going on here.
In moments he was across the room and out the door. He slipped out the hallway, dodging Eons as he roamed around, making a mental map of every corridor, every classroom. He noted the lack of guards, and also how inside some Eons, there was Eclipse. This stank of Roth. He eventually found the cafeteria. "Great, let's get some free food." he growled happily.

Draga had taken her breakfast and was heading toward a table when she heard a set of doors open across the cafeteria

Apogee was hiding quietly near the entrance to the cafeteria when he decided it was time to end his disguise. He had been bending the light around him to make it seem like nobody was there. The being of Eclipse was near, and unless he was mistaken, everyone in the cafeteria would panic at the sight of it. He had to act to lead it away from people.
"Pardon me, but you've not had the manners to introduce yourself or come through the door like a true visitor. Allow me to be the first to show manners." Apogee glared at the creature, and held up a hand that was ablaze with light and raw power. "Apogee Lightbender, daytime guard. I do believe you have some explaining to do."

Kaito whirled around to face a precedented meeting with a guard. He knew that some Eon must have know his presence, as he didn't exactly look like the other eons, which he attributed to his dekapedal motion. He looked the Eon in the eye as it demanded the reason for his presence. He hesitated for a moment. Should he run and alert the rest of the school of his presence, along with more guards? Or should he take his chances with the guard, hoping that this one might not be brainwashed, as he contained no Eclipse. His choice was unfortunately made for him, as he hesitated too long to pretend like he belonged.
"Good to meet you, lightbender. I always thought the front door was overrated." he said coolly, as to not arouse suspicion. "May we take this conversation elsewhere? I believe we are attracting undesirable attention" he motioned to another empty classroom. Once inside... "Before you question me, may I ask you one? Apogee Lightbender, what exactly to you and your comrade believe you are guarding this facility from?" Kaito said with a slight cold edge as he leaned against the wall, awaiting an answer.

Apogee walked to the teacher's desk and coolly removed the tranquilizer gun from the drawer. He focused his rage upon it, and almost all of it melted away, leaving the Eclipse as a small puddle on the desk.
"We used to guard it from outside intrusion. But now, we try to guard the children from the scientists. Everything we try to do to the Eclipse has no effect, so we do the next best thing: stop any more from getting in. We try our best, but it never seems to be enough. Now, your turn. What is your purpose here? I warn you, if you say you're here to harm the children, I will be forced to throw you out."

"I must say, I have no interest of harming these.... children. I personally have only one goal, and that is to find my creator. LIGHT is trying to destroy the both of us, and I am here to protect him. As for the Eclipse... the only way I know of breaking it's hold on the Eons here is to have the controller die or willfully remove it, or at least that's what master says. He's the one who figured out how to successfully control Eclipse. That is all I can help you with your vendetta against LIGHT, until you tell me where the scientists are, then I may be able to find the controller and persuade them to step down. I would prefer that no blood be shed, as I am risking my life to be here. May I now leave? Or do you have more questions to be answered?" Kaito said, anxious to find Roth.

Apogee held out a hand. "Hold. I shall see where the scientists are."
He closed his eyes and sent his power through the 'other' half of the school. Scientists, equipment, cages, Eclipse...A passive scan meant nothing, and if he tried any more advanced techniques, he could be found out. He opened his eyes and looked at the creature sadly.
"I cannot pinpoint your master's location. But I ask that you wait until nightfall before doing anything. The people shall be less active then, and you can do your mission far more stealthily. Plus, you should have a few allies on the night squad, so long as you mention to my counterpart that you've met me. He'll be eager to help fight the scientists, though I don't know why."

"Alright then, thank you for your help. I shall wait for dusk." Kaito said and he strode off to prepare for his night raid. He would need something a little more obscure than the loud air ducts. This time, he would try the front door, just for the hell of it.

Draga had checked to see who was at the other side of the cafeteria doors, but found nobody.
"too slow..." She muttered as she returned to her seat, "I have a funny feeling about this."
Was insomnia taking its toll on her? Was she hearing things now? Because she thought she heard that daytime guard's voice on the other side of the doors but it was hard to make out what he said. What was that daytime guard's name? Ape-gee or something? She never bothered to know the names of people here.
Draga shrugged and took a bite of her cinnamon roll. She sure hope something exciting happens soon to make up for the boring nighttime duty.

Eirra plodded down the hallways reluctantly. She'd had a terrible week. Her house had been raided by men in white coats [which wasn't comforting in itself] and Louvre, her family scattered, and she and Darius had taken off into the night, at about 12 AM. Somehow, they'd ended up here. It was Darius' idea; He'd claimed to have heard it before. So they'd landed, and been met by a kindly man who identified himself as Alex. After an argument with Darius, Eirra had been convinced to stay. She was highly suspicious that he'd used his psychic powers to influence her, for now she was regretting the decision. She didn't know anyone here, and she didn't want too. But in the end, they'd agreed, and Eirra had kept a hold of her temper by imagining Darius' head on a post. Alex was showing them to their rooms now, but Darius had said he could find it himself. “Hm… Taro… nice name.” He’d muttered to himself. “Hope he’s cute. Wonder if he’s in to guys at all…” Eirra had rolled her eyes, knowing Darius was doing this for her benefit. She’d ignored it though, and was now being shown to her room. Alex had been talking for the past half-hour, but she hadn’t been listening. He’d told her he was one of the school psychologists. She hated psychologists. “Ah, here’s your room.” Alex beamed as they arrived at the door. Eirra folded her arms and scowled. Alex had told her some of her roommates’ names but all she remembered was the name ‘Riley’ and ‘Kama’. She didn’t know if she had any others. Alex gave a gentle knock on the door. “Riley,” he called softly, his voice polite as always. “I’m sorry to bother you, but I don’t suppose you’re awake?” Eirra rolled her eyes.
