So this guy knew her name? Guess she could give him some credit for being a better guard than her.
"Well, I don't know.. She seem a bit... rough on the students. But then again, I don't bother to check on the previous teacher's P.E. classes. You?" Draga leaned against the wall beside Apogee, watching the students hurling colorful balls at each other and dodging some stray balls coming her way.

"Rough, but caring. But the dangerous part is that she is ignorant, as most of you are, as to what happens on the 'other' side of the school. Naturally, I know, as it is my job to, but I do not tell anyone except those who must know. Did you have a reason for seeking conversation with me?"

The white pup just only stared at the gym instructor with her small and sad eyes. She whined and quickly escaped behind the germand shepard's legs with the fainting sounds of her small claws.
"...Riley? I don't excactly have thumbs so...any idea how I'm suppose to do all them...pull-ups and such?" Kama looked at Akane once more and gasped and hid once again telling herself, 'Don't look...it's just a stranger...don't talk to strangers...' Again, a small growl came from her stomach and she whined softly and sat down upon her small ass and got on her belly lowering her head. "...I'm not hungry..." A small blush came around the pup's muzzle as she looked at Riley.

Well, she sure didn't have to wait for the class to begin. The teacher was already there and turned her attention into Riley the instant she put Kama down. Her ears perked up and her tail went stiff as the teacher began to yell. What did she do? Seriously, she was like one minute late. Ok maybe more than that, but other teachers certainly didn't make such a fuss about it. Riley's eyes turned icy at the teacher's "mangy mutt" comment but she pretty much ignored it. How original, not like she hasn't been called that a hundred times. And then she had to do push-ups. Great. I was so not looking forward to this when I got out of bed this morning. She got down on the squeaky gym floor and began her routine. Riley kinda hoped that she wouldn't have to ever do push ups again in her life but what did she except by coming here? 1... 2......3 Kama whined and she turned to her. "Hey don't worry about it, you don't have to do them ok?" She also made a mental note to make sure they got something to eat after this class. Riley swore she was going to make Kama eat something today.
The teacher rambled on, harshly she might add, about how they were going to play a game called dodge ball and that we have to get the teacher "out" to win a bet. ... huh? She stopped push-ups for a brief moment but quickly resumed so she wouldn't be forced to do more or something. Riley had never played dodge ball and now that she thought about it, she'd never even played a game before. Though she knew what a game was of course. By the sound of it, it seemed that you had to dodge balls. Ok, what about rules of the game? Do you... But her thoughts were interrupted when the teacher bent down and offered a hand. oh. Riley almost said "thank you" but the teacher started talking again and told her to get a drink. Good. No more push-ups. She walked over to the water fountain and lapped some of it up. Luckily is was a good-tasting water fountain; some of them in the school tasted terrible.
She took a moment to look around at the rest of the class. They were beginning to gather up into two groups: one near her and another on the opposite side. Riley blinked when she saw Eirra standing there. Whoa. She's actually here. I thought I might have smelled her. She studied some of the other students when one in particular caught her eye: it was another dog! Well, sort of. Riley tilted her head in interest. The eon had rather strange colored fur, a huge fluffy tail, upright ears, and... a human face? Where was her muzzle? Well, I mean not that she looked bad or anything but it just caught Riley a little off-guard. After all, the only other canine eons she's seen have been very dog-like and she hadn't really met any new people at the school yet. But it's only been a few days so it's no surprise that she'd run into every shape, size, color, and species. She also noticed that the eon seemed nervous, not that she could blame her really. Riley decided that her minute would be over soon so she checked to make sure Kama was ok and hurried over to the first group. Then the teacher shouted, "PLAY BALL!" and chaos erupted in the gym. Kids began running toward the balls in the center as fast as they could. Whoa! What? Aren't we supposed to stay away from the balls!? Confused, Riley followed the group anyways when the balls were all picked up and they started running back. Her eyes widened as she actually had to dodge one of the kids coming toward her to avoid being run over. She stopped running and was about to follow her group again when something smacked into her back at high speeds. Surprised, she gave a loud yelp and turned around. One of the eons had hit her with the ball. Riley bared her teeth as she shouted, "Hey! What was that for?" The kid was wearing a smug look on his face and simply replied, "You're out!" Riley stopped threatening. I'm... out? She looked around at the rest of the gym as balls began to cut through the air and hit other students. She watched as someone else got hit on their side and about 3 people chimed, "You're out!" That student frowned and walked over to the wall to sit down. A few more did the same so Riley went over there too, assuming that she was now "out".
She watched the crazy game for less than a minute when her attention was directed over to a voice shouting, "BUT WHAT DID I DOOOOOOO???" It was the yellow and blue dog girl. She was obviously as confused about what was going on too and she ran across the gym. Riley was amazed that she didn't get hit either. The "out" count was constantly growing larger; even some experienced players were sitting down. It was kind of an amusing game actually, even though she didn't understand it. Plus the multi-colored balls made it all the more... fun! Really, this game was actually a lot of fun and she was only watching it on the sidelines. Back and forth, balls were everywhere. People running, dodging, even making incredible diving maneuvers to not get "out". Now she wished she hadn't gone out so she could join the fun of chasing balls around. Oh god I want to be out there! She was almost on her feet and her tongue hung out as she jerked her head back and forth to watch all the excitement. She hadn't felt this happy in years!

"Well, Apogee... I heard your voice outside of the cafeteria this morning, so may I ask what happened? Because I have a gut feeling that something's not right." Draga questioned as she watched the game.

Kama backed off in a corner, and lied down. She was still tired and still very weak from not eating for at least a few good weeks. Her poor broken wings couldn't lift themselves up so that she could just fly away. She watched Riley have fun chasing the balls and gave a small and sad smile, she wanted to have that fun too deep down inside but she was too shy and was afraid that she herself might get hurt in such a crazy game. Kama lied her head down and slowly closed her eyes until a ball hit her poor head. She whined and got up quickly but fell back down. Laughter and excitment filled the air and the pup got up to her paws again and slowly headed for the door, she looked at the drinking fountain and licked her chops. Indeed she was not only hungry but very thirsty as well. The drinking fountain was just across the game of these rounded circular shaped items that flew across the gym itself. This was not going to be an easy job but the pup gave a huge sigh and suddenly ran charging through the game itself.

Akane leaped gracefully into the air as she dodged a salvo of balls from a group of students that were determined to hit her. The balls went past, and some even hit other students. As soon as she landed, Akane was zipping around the gym like a mad woman tagging students left and right. She thought she heard one shout "BUT WHAT DID I DOOOOOOO???", but she quickly ignored it. Whoever it was would just have to get with the program or learn the hard way. One of the students got careless and turned his back to Akane. Waisting no time, Akane found a ball and pegged the unwitting student in the back. "Pay attention next time!" she shouted as the student slammed into the ground with a thud. "Oops, maybe that was a little too hard?" Akane thought. Akane remembered that she had to remember to really pull her punches so she didn't literally rip a hole right through someone. A few minutes later Akane finally noticed that some of the Eons didn't seem to really know how to play the game as the number of players dwindled. "Wha? I thought everyone knew how to play dodge ball? It's like dealing with a pack of freaking kindergarteners here that don't know even basic things everyone should know." Akane thought as she got one of the last few students out. Soon it was down to her and a rather irate looking gargoyle when she decided to call a time out in utter exasperation. It wasn't that she didn't want to keep playing, but it wasn't any fun for her or the students when almost half of the players got out within 2 minutes.
"Alright you kiddies. It's come to my attention that some of you seem to have lived most of your lives inside a cave and don't even know what dodge ball is. As I always say, mistake is the best teacher. Now that you've got to play and watch, you'd better be able to play now. Do you still have any questions on how to play you social idiots? Otherwise everyone get back out onto the floor and we will play again." Akane said in aggrivation once she got everyones attention.

"Nothing much, Draga. Just something the night crew is going to have to deal with tonight. Now this time, I feel as though I really MUST join in, if only to get that teacher to learn the hard way that no amount of scolding is going to stop me."
Apogee then got off the wall and strode into the more central area of the room, casting what could be called a mischievous grin towards the teacher. You wanna play ball with one half of the great duo? You'll get your money's worth. Apogee telepathically sent towards her. This would be a game to remember.

Akane paused mid sentience while explaining the game when Apogee used telepathy. She shot him a spiteful grin in reply to his statement. "Oh a psychic, how wonderful! Not like I've dealt with a few of your type in the past. You are in for a surprise. Just wait, I'll make you eat those stuck up thoughts of yours you prick!" Akane thought loudly as she broadcasted her thoughts. Akane realized only after the fact that what she had done may of tipped off the guard to her true identity. "Not that it matters, I am not a subtle person anyways. If worst comes to worst I'll just mess up this place real good while I haul ass outta here. " Akane thought to herself. ((Akane isn't psychic, she just can think "out loud" so that others can pick up/ hear her thoughts if they choose to. Of course this can be risky because anyone with telepathy can pick up on her "signal". She's a loud mouth even when she's thinking! LOL))

So he wouldn't tell her. Figured that would happen, Draga sighed. Seeing that Apogee was planning on joining the game, why couldn't she? After all, she had a bit of energy so she'll do it just to amuse herself.
So Draga joined along.

Apogee's face lost a little of its playful attitude. You wanna play soft, we'll play soft. But with a demeanor like that, I figure you'll wanna play hardball. And that is precisely what you'll GET!

Kaito had all day to burn until his raid on the labs, so he concented to simply walking around, mapping out the school. His travels eventually led him to the gym, a large, empty, and mostly boring space. That is, until everyone else is gone. To him, places like this were good for one thing and one thing only. And that was climbing. Rafters lined the ceiling, a perfect hangout for him where he could sleep and plan. The walls were whitewashed brick, bumpy, and easy to dig his claws into. Kaito shivered. He hated white. White like the coats of eccentric scientists and the walls of labs (not to mention that horrible chemical cleaning smell). He took a final look around to make sure no one was watching and gathered speed. He ran a few feet up the wall and dug into it, making an ascent to the top. He reached the rafters and hopped from one to the other, noting how good it was to have some fun. His blissful leaps were short lived, as class started. He noted the barrels of balls lined against the wall and peered down through the rails. This should be interesting. The gym teacher appeared out of nowhere and began taking role, making the German Shepard who was late do push-ups. The teacher addressed the class and told them that they were playing dodge ball, and making them a bet which the Eons had to chance to decline. The gym teacher was rude and made sure to insult at least one Eon with every other sentence. "Bitch." Kaito muttered. He didn't like her. She was no better than the scientists on the other side, which she offered a recommendation to as one of her terms. "Looks like there will be plenty after school detentions." He said to himself. A perfect chance to mess with heads. Scanning across the floor, he noted the presence of Apogee, an angry looking gargoyle, another guard, and on the opposite wall, a bright yellow and blue dog Eon. Apogee was there, but why? Maybe he was tracking Kaito's movements, or perhaps there was some other explanation, but in either case, Kaito was sure to look over his shoulder for him.

Sorin's eyes bearly open to see the clock on the night stand. " Oh Bugger!! I'm late!" He through the covers off the bed and ran into the bath room to get his gym clothes on. In an instant he came stumbling out with his pants half on. He ran over to a box of pop-tarts on the dresser. He grabed on just as he finished putting on his pants. He ran over and grabed his googles and slaped the on his face with a bad sound. Sorin ran down the stairs hoping he wasn't to late. The air in his lungs began to give when he put his hand up to a near by window. As he ran a blue light orb appered in front of him. His legs crossed in mid air as he landed on top of the orb. He lead forward and a white smoke trail formed as he dissapperd down the hall. He saw the looks of a Hall Monitor wiz past his perifral vision. As he sped down the hall, a peice of paper layed right infront of him. The movement of the paper flug him of the orb as it dissaperd in a sprkle of light. His face began to skid across the ground. Sorin layed on the ground with the pain running through his body. He looked up to see the door to the gym. He stood up and wizzed open the door to see eons lying on the gym floor cover by carnige. It look to him like a battle zone. With poptart spuing out of his mouth, he tried to sneak over to a team and act like he was there the whole time.

[La la la la~ *comes onto eons to this thread, sees 15 new posts since my last post* O___O JESUS CHRIST PEOPLE! *falls off chair at the messed up order* This... Okay... Breathe Ani... breathe. This was to be expected... though some patience would be nice... *grumbles, cracks knuckles* Okay... Here we go.]
'I'm going to die. I'm going to die. I'm going to dieeeeee!!' The same thoughts were being repeated over and over in Ani's head as she continued to sprint around the gym like a frantic gazelle being chased by a hungry lion. She can feel her leg muscles burning calories and kept her fluffy tail held up high behind her to keep her balance as she was literally seeing colored balls flying everywhere she goes. The dog girl was jumping, dodging, ducking all while flailing her arms like a lunatic. One has got to admit, Ani was in a great shape if she was able to get this far into the game without getting 'out'. As the crazy game processes, Ani's ears flicked upward when she noticed that more and more of the students has gone to sit down by the sideline and blinked her curious eyes. 'What happened to them...? Did they get hurt?' That was a very highly unlikely chance seeing how they weren't exactly bleeding, bruised or whimpering in obvious pain; in fact, that same German Shepherd anthro who Ani took interest earlier was practically on the edge and seemingly to be very excited about the chaos. It was clear on the pure breed's face that she really wanted to jump right back in again. 'Glad to see that someone's excited about the violence...' Ani thought miserably; terrified out of her right state of mind and continued to dodge the flying balls. She quickly noticed that the number count of student bodies and balls were quickly reducing and she heaved a sigh of relief. She was almost out of this mess! Even though she was scared out of her wits, she had to admit that this running back and forth while dodging the balls was actually kind of fun! Ya know, that if she doesn't get killed.
Ani thought that she was in the clear after noticing that the balls stopped pelting at her and she briefly looked over her shoulders. 'Ha! I guess I was just too fast for them!' She thought in a rather cocky tone and turned her head to look ahead of her... and then her eyes widened in horror. There, only a few feet in front of her, was a small, frail looking white pup crossing across the gym floors. "Hey! HEY! WATCH OUT! OH BACON BI-" Ani yelped loudly, flailing her arms to try to catch the puppy's attention and tried to stop in time. Unfortunately, since she was all claw and no pad, she was sliding across the gym floor with a noisy clicking of claws. Having no time to consider her options, Ani sucked in a deep breath and practically launched herself forward, OVER the small wolf pup. Of course, since the moving object wasn't that big to avoid so Ani had no trouble landing on the other side. Still, her heart was like a jackhammer in her chest. If she hasn't seen the puppy in time, no doubt that she would've ran right into her and hurt her pretty badly since the puppy looked like she can break easily. After composing herself together, Ani rounded around and looked down at the poor, pathetic looking puppy. She put her hands on her hips, her pink tongue hanging from her mouth and her chest was heaving to pant heavily. Her knees was shaking but her focus was completely on the innocent who she managed to dodge at the last second. "Jeez... What the heck were you thinking, walking out here like that? You could've gotten hu- UGH!" Ani was immediately cut off when something bounced off her left shoulder and she whirled around with wide eyes just as the bright scarlet red ball fell to the floor with a bounce. She noticed a student standing there with another red ball in his hands and it happened to be the same guy who got Riley out. "What in the name of my fluffy tail was THAT for?!" Ani accused him with an unhappy snarl; the kid rolled his eyes at the shout and calmly yet irately shook his head. "What's wrong with you canine people? Don't you know how to play dodgeball? Anyway, you're out." "....Out?" Ani repeated with raised eyebrows and her mouth hung open. So... Has she been playing the game all this time...? This wasn't a war between students and teacher? All of the sudden, it clicked in Ani's head and she felt sheepish and stupid; her cheeks flared up into a bright pinkish color. 'I... I am SUCH an idiot...' All this time, it was just some harmless game and getting hit by a ball didn't even hurt. Her blue ears drooped down in shame and she looked to the other students who got out before back down at the white pup, almost forgot about her. What is she supposed to do with her? She ran her fingers through her messy bangs and concernedly addressed to her, "Uhh... Be careful next time... Okay?"
Ani hunched her shoulders and sulked over to join the 'out' students in the sideline. She pressed her back against the wall when she reached to them, closed her eyes and heaved a heavy sigh. Well... What a wonderful waste of panic attack she had. She slid down the wall to sit, drawing up her knees and propped back up an elbow. She slowly opened her eyes to stare out to the game... only except it was over. Already. She lifted her brows again only this time in surprise. Her ears were erected in interest when the teacher spoke to the class before lowering them back again; okay... She admit, she felt stupid for not knowing how to play but the way Akane addressed to the clueless class in that tone made her felt like she's a helpless retard. Ani cringed inwardly, 'Can you say... ouch?' "Thanks a lot for your concern." Ani bitterly muttered under her breath towards the teacher but hoped that she didn't hear her. When Akane said to play again, Ani heaved another sigh and got back up, dusting herself off before jogging back onto the gym floor. Okay, now that she understands [somewhat] on how to play the game, she would do better this time around. However, she stopped when she noticed that the teacher's attention was directly on one of the guards that has been standing there the entire time and curiously tilted a head. 'NOW what?' She wondered and blinked questioningly when she noticed the fierce determination and challenge in Akane's face. Ani was no psychic but she got common sense and she knows that something was up. The dog girl glanced to the day guard and noticed that he was walking towards the center of the gym floor; 'Oh bacon bits... Don't... Don't tell me.... HE'S going to play?' Her eyes widened even more to see the second guard joining him and suddenly, she felt very meek and uncomfortable. 'Uh oh... This... This can't be good...' She nervously played with the strings on her hoodie as she looked around with wild eyes at the students, the teacher and the two guards; maybe she better sit this one out when she's still alive?

Apogee's smile returned and he extended a hand towards the pile of balls. One of them flew to his outstretched hand and he gripped it tightly. "Lesson one, kids. Don't let someone define who you are for you." This was a two-purpose statement: one was philosophical, meaning they should always take charge in their lives and not let what people say about them cut too deep. The second purpose was to make them realize that using their powers in their lives was okay, despite what the teacher had said.
He then turned towards the teacher and expended a bit of his power, doing enough of a scan to pick up her name. "Akane, you'll learn something as well today. I'm Apogee, and as long as the sun's up, this will be not a game, but a massacre."
And with that, Apogee let loose his ball directly at Akane's torso.
