(Quick question: If this is basically starting over on the RP, does that mean all relationships are reset, or at least the ones between people who met at the school? for the moment, Ill assume it does, which means Thad and Shyria will have to fall in love all over again.....durrrr CB)
Somewhere deep in the forests surround the school, Shyria stirred from her makeshift den and peered off to the east. She knew the demon's host had passed by here earlier from the lingering aura; however, she could not determine which of the two scents she had picked up belonged to the aura's carrier. She'd been tracking them for close to a week now, but that search would soon be done. Yawning, she shook the dead leaves off her hide and took to the sky. In the distance, standing out against the brightening horizon, was a building, one she could only assume was her quarry's goal. Satisfied she was still on track, she landed and set off for a morning hunt to fill her belly...

The knock that came from the door was more than enough to put Riley back into reality. She was used to having to wake up quickly and be on high alert so naturally she was already on her feet and staring intensely at the door. She was sure it was fine to let whoever it was in to the room but she sniffed a few times to have some idea with who she was dealing with. One was a human, the other was something she couldn't pick out. A foreign smell. She calmed down a bit and said, "Er, yeah. Come in." The door opened.

Alex strode through the door and smiled at Riley. "Hi, riley, my dearest apologies on waking you... But classes ARE about to start... how have you been?" Alex glanced over, concerned, and watched Kama warily. "How's your friend? Is she... eating enough?" Alex shook his head sadly, and looked back at Riley. "If you need help or anything... you know I'm here, OK?" He smiled gently at her. "In any case, I wanted to introdue you to your new roomate." He glanced back at the hall, where Eirra stood still and beckoned for her to enter. Reluctantly, the gargoyle slinked into the room, her arms folded and a scowl on her face. "Riley, Kama, this is Eirra. She'll be rooming with you for a few days, and shadowing you for classes. I hope you'll be willing to help her." Alex glanced down at his wrist as his watch began to chirp, and pursed his lips together. "My apologies, but I have to run. I'll be back to check on you ladies, ok?" And Alex turned, and exited, leaving Eirra to stare with contempt at her new roomates.

Ah, so that's who it is Riley thought as Alex walked in. He was smiling, as usual. Almost creepy how cheery he always seemed to be. He mentioned Kama, yes it's true that she wasn't well and hardly ever eats. Well, perhaps Kama was used to being hungry or something, but she tried to get her to eat with no luck. Riley only shook her head, but perked up when he announced they were going to have a new roommate. She watched as a strange looking Eon with large wings, horns, and a long tail walked wearing an expression that could only be described as a "fuck the world". She certainly didn't give off any friendly vibes that's for sure. Eirra was her name. Hm. Riley, still wondering what exactly she was dealing with here, tried to look friendly enough because she didn't want any trouble. So she tried a reluctant, "Hi. I'm Riley. I guess you're new here so um... we're new too." She motioned to Kama sitting on the bed. "So, er..." she tried to search for something that would make for good conversation. Riley wasn't used to talking with others very often, it made her uneasy. There weren't rules set in stone for talking with other people but she couldn't help being anxious and afraid of saying the wrong thing. So she usually avoided it, but it was becoming more demanding of her to engage in conversations with others. Maybe Eirra would have something better to say before the conversation fizzled before it even started.

Akane had come to the school only a few weeks ago when she started hearing weird rumors about it being a school for "mutant freaks" on the 'net about the place. Her various hacks into their data network kept giving her the nagging feeling that something was indeed going on. It was certainly possible that the place had some connection to LIGHT. The best way to find out if the rumors were true, was to see for herself Akane had decided. That is why she decided to infiltrate the school. It was almost too easy to get the job after the last gym teacher was laid up in the hospital for the foreseeable future. Evidentially most of the staff was not in on whatever was really going on here Akane figured. Akane’s on site investigations had uncovered that something was afoot. Whatever that something was, Akane was still trying to figure out…
"Another boring day at this pathetic excuse for a job. Why did I decide to make the previous gym teacher get hit by a car in the first place so I could get his shitty job?” Akane sighed as she unlocked her office in the girls locker room and flicked on the lights. She honestly had no desire to be a gym teacher, but then again, “being a teacher was better than pretending to be a student and possibly getting probed up the ass.” Akane chuckled at her joke as she pushed piles of junk including a clip board off of her underused and very dusty work computer. After several aggravating minutes dealing with the old piece of crap, Akane managed to pull up the file that contained the lesson plan that Alex had given her when she started. Her eyes glimmered with a mixture excitement and bloodlust as soon as she read the lesson plan for this week: dodge ball. Akane got up and got the clip board with the class roster on it off of the floor. She quickly went over it as she had to make sure she remembered everyone’s name. It was a pain, but it was part of her job as a teacher Alex had admonished her when Akane neglected to do so. First period: Riley, Draga (( Does she actually go to school or just do guard duty?)), Cheerleader, So and so, What’s her face, The ugly one, ect….. Akane gave up with memorizing the rest of her students names as she sat down and put her feet up on her desk as she leaned back and waited for class to begin.

Apogee decided that it was high time he actually saw the school instead of sensing it through his powers. Yes, he knew every spare detail about everyone and everything here, but that didn't mean he had faces to put the facts to. He indulged his curiosity and decided to walk the halls, going past Riley's room, possibly causing both her and her new guest a turn as Riley realized that Apogee was not comatose in the library as she had first seen him. Afterwards, he decided that it might be fun to go to the gym, the old teacher had gone and the new one needed a bit of a shock. He would stand by, and if things got boring in this new class he'd give the students a mental nudge to use their powers and make things a lot more interesting.

Eirra listened as the German Shepard introduced herself, barely noticing that Alex had left her. There was no way in hell Eirra had any interest in making friends here. She wasn't going to get hurt again, for it did hurt, everytime she settled down some place, made friends, and then had to leave again. And she was sure she'd be leaving this place before long. It depended how long it took to convince Darius to leave.... Still, she couldn't possibly avoid everyone while she was here, and so she returned Riley's greeting. "Hi." Eirra's voice was as cold as a cat on the Arctic Tundra in the dead of winter. And then she fell silent. What else was there to say? This german shepard held no interest for Eirra, and on top of that, the gargoyle was dead-tired... she hadn't slept in so long. She still had to go her classes today, though, or her sleep scedule would get messed up and she'd start behaving as a nocturnal animal. That didn't work for her. So Eirra stood coldly, eye the shepard and wolf pup, before glancing at her palm for her bed number; she'd writted in down in pen on her skin, since the idea of grabbing paper and pencils while her house was being ransacked by psycho scientists hell-bent on ruling the world hadn't crossed her mind. She was in Bed 4. Great. Perfect. Wonderful. Eirra looked back at the German Shepard, and determined that the conversation wasn't going anywhere. Even better... "Well," Eirra muttered sardonically, venom seeming to drip from every word. "Nice to meet you." The way she spoke made it sound like she'd rather pull her tonails off with pliers then ever have to talk to Riley again. "I'm going over there now..." and with that, Eirra left Riley, and walked over to her bed, plopping down, and reaching into her frayed cargo pants to retriece her cell phone. 'Get me out of here,' she texted to Darius, her fingers flying over the buttons skillfully, like an art. She sent the message, already sure Darius would not be responding. 'Bastard,' she thought.

(To Momaru- Draga graduated early from the school so now she's who you would call a security guard)
Draga had heard about what happened to the old gym teacher and that they had gotten a new one; having nothing better to do, she decide she'll go to the gym and check things out.

As she thought, her new roommate had no interest in continuing or ever even bringing up conversation again. That suited Riley just fine. She looked over at Kama sitting on the bed and then her PAD caught her eye. Oh wait. Class... right. She picked it up and carefully tapped the buttons with her pawed hands to view her schedule. She hadn't been in th system very long so her classes were still being changed around for now until she got a more permanent schedule. First period: Gym. Alrighty then. The class started in a few minutes. Luckily there was a map on the PAD so it shouldn't be too hard to find. "We better go to class." She said to the wall. She sensed that Eirra wouldn't want to budge or even breathe for the sake of going to class on time, if going at all. She turned to Eirra anyways, "Gym class is first if you're coming." And with that she picked up Kama and started off to class. Walking down the hall she peered over her shoulder to see if Eirra was going to follow, but she didn't know why she even bothered.
She began to quicken her stride, turned a few corners, and ended up in front of the gym. She opened the door and peered around inside. Other Eons were there, all standing around and most not caring what was really going on around them. Riley stepped in and walked confidently, tail high and ears upright to the rest of the group. She placed Kama on the floor and waited for class to begin.

"Finally it's class time!" Akane said out loud as she stood up. She barely remembered to grab her clipboard and a ratty old foam ball that happened to be lying around in the office before she bounded excitedly into the gym. She noticed two of the campus guards leaning against a wall as she began to take attendance. "Hrmph! Probably here to make trouble for me" Akane grumpily thought as she sneared at them. Just then, a female German Shepard Eon tried to slink into class a few minutes late. "You there! Think you're clever enough to sneak in here late? Well if you are so clever, you can do push ups while I explain the game to the rest of the class you mangy mutt!" Akane shouted at Riley. ((Sorry Riley, I know from first hand experience it's in your very nature to be late to classes.))
"Alright listen up you pansies! This week we are going to be playing my all time favorite game: dodge ball!" Akane said enthusiastically as she threw and caught the ratty foam ball over and over. "In fact I like it sooo much that I am going to make you losers a bet. If anyone can get me out, I'll put a good word in for them to be sent to the other side of the school. But, if nobody can tag me, then you all get detention with me after school for the whole week! Are we clear? As usual, I want a nice clean game. No low blows, or blows to the head. If I catch you doing that, I'll give you an example of what that feels like courtesy of my fist! Go ahead and peg each other as hard as you like though. I don't want to hear any complaints! One more thing, no using any of your “magical powers” or shit like that. This is a test of your physical powers. If you even try to pull shit like that on me, I'll have you clean out the toilets with a toothbrush! Got all those rules you dumb asses? " Akane said as she got out garbage cans filled with foam balls and dumped them on the floor. Only then did she walk over to Riley and offer her hand to the canid. “I admit, you have good push up form! Go have some water from the fountain and get ready to play. You have exactly one minute!” Even though Akane was tough on her students, she admired those that showed they gave it their all despite that. “You lazy ass bums hanging out over there against the wall like you are something else, why don't you come show me what you've got and play too? If you can tag me I'll buy you lunch! Except for the white dog. You look well, as sick as a dog!” Akane shouted at the guards and Eirra to come play.
She was totally enjoying her job. Akane got some sort of perverse pleasure out of being the gym teacher from hell. Although she had to be careful not to go overboard and get in trouble with Alex like she did when she got her job. Akane was able to convince Alex that the students had to be toughened up since the real world certainly was a brutal place for people that were used to living in the cooshy school. They somehow managed to reach an agreement that Akane was allowed to be tough, but not abusive to her students. All that meant was Akane couldn't call them all sorts of colorful names like a drill instructor would (She had to watch her mouth), and she couldn't permanently injure them.
Akane stood in the center of the gym and shouted the words: "3, 2, 1, play ball" at the top of her lungs....

Eirra rolled her eyes at Riley's comment. Great, gym. Her favorite. She honestly considered skipping- could they really blame her? She'd been awake for almost a day and a half, obviously, she'd want sleep. But, then again, she couldn't risk messing up her sleep scedule, because that would make it harder to escape. Ah, well. Maybe she'd get to knock some kid's teeth in. Eirra sighed, and rose from the bed, dropping her cell phone back into her cargo pants. It clattered against something- her PAD. She made a mental note to toss that things as soon as possible. She didn't want a machine ordering her around and telling her what to do. Especially if it's orders were to go to a physically demanding area like gym. She didn't feel tired, but she knew by the end of the day, she'd be nigh passing out. The gargoyle trailed after Riley and Kama, noting that Kama actually got to be carried. 'Lucky her,' Eirra thought wearily. Maybe she was more tired then she thought... In any case, she arrived at the gym, following Riley reluctantly, and flexed her back. God, it would be good to see some action. She bared her teeth slightly, her fangs flashing in the light. The gym teacher started off quickly, and Eirra's ears pricked at the less than social language that came from her mouth. 'Tough teacher,' Eirra grinned to herself. Good. She needed to get in better shape anways. With a yawn, Eirra shook herself and trotted up to get a ball. This was going to be fun...

Apogee smiled slightly and shook his head, while, internally, he raved at this teacher. She obviously didn't know what happened on the 'other' side of the school, otherwise she wouldn't have said that. Now his job was clear: make her forget to mention any children to the 'other' side of the school. Another reason he declined was because part of his powers were beyond any amount of control. This part made him stronger and quicker and would give him an unfair advantage so long as the sun was up. He didn't want that, and he also didn't want to be recommended by the teacher. And he still had some duties as a guard.
For the time being he decided to just lean on the wall and observe what happened.

[I tried to resist, I really did... but... the moment Bryce typed the word 'Dodgeball', I caved in. lD;; This is a baaad idea but oh well, time to be awesome and kick some ass!! Ani: ... *whines, big puppy eyes* But... I don't wanna get my brains knocked out! ............... *facepalm*
I also decided to rp with Taro since I noticed that nobody else has History class. 8' So, here ya go Taro, I mean, you can't be the only student in that class! xDD Just skip all the way down to ~*~*~*~ part. ^_^;;]
'I wonder if Twister's doing okay...' Sitting at the far end of the gym with her back pressed against the wall was an interesting combination of a dog and human; with her fur was bright canary yellow and royal blue so she's not exactly hard to miss. Her distance from the others, however, is lengthy and her large eyes blankly stared out to them in a longing to join in. Oh, she'd fit in alright considering that all of the students that occupies this school are eons so everybody were different in their own ways; it's just the issue about having a lack of self esteem. Before she has arrived to the school, she grew up in a all-human, 'normal' society where she would be ridiculed and feared by many which forced her to isolate herself thus the lack of social skills. How... depressing. The dog girl drew up a knee and propped up an elbow, leaning forward with her chin in the palm of her hand. 'You should just go up to one of them and introduce yourself! It's not that hard, Ani!' The mutt, known as Ani, stared intensively at the scattered group of students chatting lightly among themselves or just standing around with dull, I'm-bored expressions on their faces before tilting her head against her fingers and her eyes flew shut in defeat. Sigh. Who is she kidding? She's not that brave or outgoing like that and she certainly wasn't about to embarrass herself either. 'This is going to be a long day...' She concluded with another deep sigh and blew at her overgrown bangs.
Ani's outsize ears jerked up when the teacher had entered the gym but didn't bother to move when she was addressing to the class and taking the attendance. Ani curiously rose a brow, her sensitive ears twitched and stared at the woman who introduced herself to be Akane, a loud, obnoxious woman who was trying to act tough and scare the beejeebus out of the students. 'This... will definitely... be a very loooong day...' Ani thought with a worried frown; studying the punkish teacher who always seem to have something to say. When she realized that the teacher was calling her name, the mutt rapidly blinked her eyes and jerked her head off her chin. "Uh... Tha... That's my name!" Ani shouted from the back wall while raising her hand to get the teacher's attention but then got mortally confused when Akane checked something on her clipboard and continued on with the next name. Wasn't she just calling her name? Didn't she want her? Ani cocked her head in the other direction and stared as Akane continued down the list of names and the students responding with 'Here!' or 'Yo!'. 'Uhm... Okay... I guess she's just...seeing that everybody's here... or something like that?' Ani was very new to the institute much like the others around her but that doesn't mean she had school before she came here... Admittingly, Ani had no education experience but then again, she wasn't sure. In fact, she wasn't sure what happened to her when she was young, where she originally lived, who was her family or even what was her real name... Simply because this dog girl had lost her memory of her early childhood so there was no way to be sure that she has at least went to elementary school or not.
Moving back to the current situation, Ani continued to watch the teacher finish up her attendance before deciding that this was a normal routine as the other students didn't seem fazed and got up onto her hind paws. She stretched her arms high over her head and groaned quietly, working out the lazy muscles. Few minutes later, the doors opened and new smells entered which caught Ani's interest but by the time she turned to see, she nearly jumped out of her skin when Akane caught the sneaking students by yelling at them and her words echoed loudly inside the gym. 'Man... Can't she be any louder...?' She had to wonder while rubbing her right ear, before suddenly her eyes widened and cringed inwardly when the teacher called one of the students a 'mangy mutt'. 'Isn't that... a bit... harsh...?' Ani thought with a frown; she was quite used to be called that by the humans but it still left an effect on her and she began to shifted her weight from one paw to the other nervously. She really hoped that Akane wouldn't address her like that either. But that was the moment she finally got to see who it was and what that interesting canine smell scent was coming from, noticing a what it seem to be a very annoyed gargoyle and... Ani froze. Her blue eyes widened and she had to rub her eyes to be sure that she saw what she thought she saw. Yes! It really is a walking dog! Up on her hind legs, just like her! Okay, sure, that German Shepherd is a full anthro and not an obvious mix of something else but who cares? Ani's hope was rekindled and she clasped her hands together excitedly; she hasn't had the chance to explore the school since she just arrived yesterday but this... this was becoming to be an extraordinary experience for her. The school councilors were right, there ARE others who is just like her! All her life, or at least the life she knows, she always thought that she was her only kind. 'Wow... I wonder what's her name...?' Ani wondered, tempted to go over but suddenly froze again when she remembered Akane and listened as the teacher ordered the German Shepherd anthro to do push-ups. '.....On a second thought... Maybe not.'
Ani again jumped, startled when Akane turned back to the class after punishing the poor German Shepherd and snapped her attention back on her. She'll have to worry about introduction later then because apparently... they're going to do something while they're here. The mutt girl blinked blankly as the teacher mentions the word 'dodge ball' and scratches her head in confusion; what kind of a game is THAT? Sure she has done kickball, softball and flag football, but never in her life has she heard of dodge ball, but whatever it is, it sounds... nerve-wrecking and scary even. She fiddled her fingers together nervously and looked around her to see that many of the students already knew what the sport is and seems to be anxious and ready to play. 'Uhhh... I guess I was supposed to know?' Ani thought before suddenly her eyes darted back to Akane when she repeatly tossed the ball up in the air and immediately, her doggy instincts kicked in. Both of her ears shot up as her eyes were watching the ratty ball with great interest. She wasn't aware but her fluffy tail was wagging excitedly behind her and her mouth was opened, her pink tongue lolled out and is panting. Okay, maybe dodge ball won't be such a bad game to play! Just as long she gets to have one of those fun, colored balls! She stopped herself though when Akane starts talking about making a bet with the students and snapped her mouth shut. Woah, wait... Isn't that kinda... unfair? Ani blinked vacantly again and her tail has stopped wagging and lays limplessly on the dirty floor. The more Akane speaks in her foul, threatening voice, the more Ani grew nervous and uneasy. She remained quiet and waited till the teacher was done explaining the rules... Well, the rules with the assumption that all of her students already knew how to play the game. Poor Ani, she's so confused and lost just by listening and getting edgier when Akane threatened them and called them dumb asses. Despite her unsteadiness, Ani tried to put on a brave face and meekly rose her hand, "I have a question...!" The mutt pulled her hand down quickly as she rose it when she noticed that Akane probably wasn't going to notice someone like her and was already moving towards the German Shepherd from earlier to help her up. "Ehhhh... okay... nevermind. Ha ha, it was a stupid question anyway!" Ani said to nobody in particular and again sighed in defeat. Oh well, she'll just have to try to figure out the sport by watching; after all, it doesn't seem like anybody would wanna wait to explain the game to her. She sucked in a breath, straighting her back and slowly walked in closer to join in with the group, looking around quietly at first. When she noticed that there was another quiet student standing next to her, Ani dragged in a deep breath and put on an awkward smile, leaning over to him to whisper, "The teacher... She's going to kill us isn't she?" She didn't get an answer when the the voice yelled; 'PLAY BALL!' because then all of the students rushed for the colored balls that was lying at the center of the gym while Ani stood firmly where she is. She was just staring after the students as they made a mad scramble for the balls and again scratches at her head, "Uhmmm..." She watched as they fight over the balls before she noticed that as soon they got their hands on the balls, they quickly backed away from each others with fierce, dangerous determination in their eyes, and reared back before starting to pelt each other with the balls! "What the heck?!" She yelped in a surprise and her jaw dropped open when she watches the students yelling battle cries while spreading out all over the gym floors with their armed weapons. She watched as they ducked away from each other, colored balls are flying, greedy hands grabbing for whatever balls lying around, throwing them recklessly, running all over the place, jumping as high as they could. It's madness! [This... is... EOOOOON! *is shot for the interruption*] What IS this crazy sport? Ani whimpered nervously as she was standing near the fray and tilted her head, what is she supposed to do anyway? All of the sudden, two students stepped in front of her, both menacingly holding colored balls and was looking at her like a live target. Ani can feel her ears wilted and her heart stop. Oh... this is not going to end well... Smiling nervously, she put her hand to her back and with her other hand, she waved to them innocently. "Eh heh heh... Hi there! Fabulous day to kill each other, huh?" They pulled back, positioned and ready to throw. Ani's eyes widened. "Oh bacon bits!" She again yelped at the top of her lungs when the balls were finally launched at her and she managed to duck away in time; one of the balls barely grazed her shoulder. Not missing a beat, Ani turned on her paws and took off sprinting across the gym, it's really a wonder how she was able to dodge all the balls that was thrown at her all at once and continued to run as if her own life depends on it! Over her shoulders, she howled desperately at the students; "BUT WHAT DID I DOOOOOOO???"
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Meanwhile, in a less interesting, boring setting; another eon teenager sat at one of the desks with an obvious tired expression on his face. 'Oh boy... Another morning to cram stuff. Yay.' He thought sarcastically to himself and rolled his eyes down to the homework paper he had out, not exactly thrilled to be here like many other students. The teenager was one of the few students who was fifteen minutes early; granted, he is one of those students who was most likely to be late to class rather than be on time but not today. It was mostly because his roommates sneaked out all night and came back five o'clock this morning, raising hell, ranting about how the night duty guards was such a pain and that it was stupid to have someone monitor them while they slept. They even ranted about how it was a government's conspiracy to keep them locked up at the school forever. 'I swear, my roommate's insane...' He thought with a grumble and was half slouched over the desk with his elbow propped up and his face resting in his palm while randomly playing with his pencil. 'I swear... It's way too early to be in class...' He again thought with a lazy sigh, his eyes half closed and was trying not to nod himself off to sleep like he did last time. Last time, Ms. Reicherd had caught him and needless to say, the teacher wasn't pleased and before the half bobcat anthro could have the chance to wake up, he took a white board eraser to the head. Absentmindedly, he reached up to rubbed his left temple where the eraser hit him the other day and twitched a bobcat ear, his sharp cat eyes drifted to the clock; 'When is the class going to be over...?' And the teacher wasn't even in the room yet.
The bobcat teenager wasn't paying attention to anybody when the students slowly began to fill empty seats before the teacher herself had arrived. Ms. Reicherd, his history teacher, was walking up and down the rows of desk, collecting homework. He flicked his ears back to the voices behind him, can hear the teacher praising the jackal anthro for his 'nice work'... again... and braced himself. He knew what was coming. Ms. Reicherd paused when she got to him and frowned unhappily as she took his paper from under his elbow. "As for you Bobby... Please try to put more effort into your paper." "Sure, whatever." Bobby resorted with a hint of frustration in his tone but still he lazily stared up at the teacher and acted much like a uncaring teenager would do. Ms. Reicherd gave a soft huff of disapproval before moving onto collecting the next student's homework. Bobby's eyes followed after the teacher before he released a soft groan and pushed back, leaning against his chair. 'Yeah, sorry that it was my fault that I really am a ten years old kid and I still write like I'm in elementary school...' Yep. You read that right. You shouldn't always trust your eyes because when you look at Bobby, he isn't what you see... Bobby, a supposedly bobcat anthro, was actually a little boy in a holographic disguise. How is this so? Simple. He is an illusionist. He has been around here for quite some time now, months even, and the people around him still hasn't got a clue that he's been fooling them with his fake mask all along. 'Heh... Just like a human, an eon's mind are also easy to trick...'
Bobby glanced to his side to idly stare out the window at the rising sun and tapped a finger to the desk, waiting for the teacher to finish collecting homework and get on with the class. The sooner they get the class started, the sooner they can leave.

Draga was just relaxing against the farest wall in the gym when the next thing she knew, this new teacher was demanding her and the day guard to join the game. She would be more than happy to join the class only if she wasn't too exhausted from the night duty, and had the day duty to worry about.
So, Draga had to decline the offer; and plus, this could be a good opportunity to find out about what she missed out at the cafeteria this morning, she knew something wasn't right at that time.
She approached the day guard, hoping that he was willing to tell her what she needed to know.
