Alrighty, this is where I'm going to put any and all updates on my progress for creating this year's (and hopefully for years to come) costume. I'm going as Kaida, my Charizard Pokemorph character so I can match Ani and Night (possibly Kaito) with a common theme. Woo! So far I'm just using this costume for Nan-Desu-Kan, but I hope to be attending more cons in the future :D
The Photo Album can be found here: Kaida Costume
Updated: December 16th. Project Status: Designed head, got all materials and tutorials, started working on project August 20, 2007. Hands: Complete! Feet: Complete! Tail: Complete! Wings: Complete! Head: Complete! Clothes: Complete!
Project Completion Estimate: 100% Deadline: September 14, 2007 (Day before NDK)

Here is my head concept/design of my costume. It's not perfect but it will give you an idea on how it will look.

oh damn! wow tusami thats comming out amazing! and you're going with the bacalava (sp) style! I have been wanting to try that one for a while now, maybe i'll do it with my next costume. but anyway I have to admit that i'm pretty jealous of how well you and ani's costumes ^^; they are comming out (or came out) so well!

Wow, thanks a bunch Night! :D I'm glad you're liking it so far. I'm extremely proud of what I've done so far. I really hope the balaclava style works out well. I know it's going to be hot though << I'll deal. Denver's not near as hot as Texas! (poor you guys) I really want a movable jaw too. Though it might be a little too late for that now. I'll try to make it work. If I do, I'll be sure to put up a video on youtube demonstrating it moving.
Annnnd for another status update:

Wow Tusami! That's coming out really nice~!! -jealous hard core-
And that's the site I used to make my Boomer mask too. ;D
I know I don't have time to actually fix Boomer's jaw or anything like that, BUT, I am going to try to redo the feet. The same way yo're doing, Tusami, because I actually wanted to do it but since I'm such a terrible procrastintor and Akon was like within the week... >_>; I never did it. So hopefully I'll go out and buy some cheap sneakers and just work on it sometime within the next few days. When Night comes, she'll be helping me fix my mask... yeaaaah, the day before NDK. Dx But yeah. :D Keep going Tusami, it's looking REALLY good.
