Brief History: X-5 was a new experimental class of Droideka, with various improvements such as the ability to speak basic, faster rolling speed, and tactical processing. There were only 27 X class Droidekas produced from the factory on Colla IV, commissioned just before of the execution of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Due to several technical faults, X-5 was not activated before CIS deactivated the droid armies and surrendered, and therefore was not shut down and sold to the Corporate Sector. Instead, X-5 sat in storage until it was sold to an individual who paid well. He turned out to be a bounty hunter. His name was Dresari, and he bought X-5 to assist him on his many skirmishes with the most rotten scum in the galaxy. Eventually, Dresari took up the bounty on Jayco, which is where X-5 experienced a catastrophic failure. To simply put it, he fell over, and due to the shield “blocking” anything it touched, the floor counted. This resulted in an overload of generator and droid. Under the firepower of Jayco, Dion, and Torin, Dresari was forced to flee without his companion.
