History-
STAR WARS: The Dark Times: (Movies I, II, III, and the period in between III and IV)
Gemini was born to a war-minded aggressive species called the Femene Warri. The Femene Warri believed in women superiority and either enslaved its males or drove them out of the village. When a young Femene hit puberty, she had to go out and find one of the banished males. When she found one that appealed to her, they would have sexual intercourse.
Simona, a war hero at age 98 (about nine years old), found a mate (Kin) and by him, she had twin girls, Gemini and Scorpia. Twins were considered gifts of the goddesses in their tribe, so Gem and Scorpia grew up with many privileges.
Gemini’s species was trying to take over the Duriks, sparking the Femene-Durik war. It was getting out of hand, and the Jedi council sent two Jedi, Master Kiar and Master Relic, both females, to negotiate peace. Gemini, and her twin sister, Scorpia invaded the meeting, secretly and were caught. Because twins were sacred, it was forbidden to kill the twins, so they were banished from the tribe. In anger, Scorpia used her as-of-yet undiscovered telekinesis to lift rocks, stones, and sticks into the air and attack the Tribe Elders. The Jedi saw this, and tested Scorpia and her sister. They learned they had Jedi powers.
Since they were already banished, the girls left with Masters Kiar and Relic. They went to a Jedi academy, where they met Anakin Skywalker for the first time. They were classmates, until they became older, and Anakin went to train with Obi Wan, Gemini went to Yoda, who recognized her potential, and Scorpio went to Mace Windu, who thought that she was dangerous, and wanted to change her defiant attitude.
When they were older, the twins were allowed a visit back home. Hoosa, the Tribe Elder who had banished them, was dead, so their exile was over. They returned, and saw their mother again. Their mother told them that she had become pregnant again, with a different mate, and that they had a brother. Gemini became worried, knowing that males were treated poorly in her culture. The son had been abandoned by Simona (Simona in particular detested boys) and enslaved by a family on the other side of the village. His tentacles had been cut and his face scarred to mark him. He was also beaten a lot. The abusers were hoping to indirectly kill him, for men were seen as slime.
Gemini met her brother, Cane Centauri, and liked him immediately. She went to the family and tried to acquire him, but could not. The family believed that if a male, the gift of the devil, touched one of the gifts from the goddesses, he would forever tarnish her. This was why twins were not allowed to mate. Meanwhile, Scorpia had a heart-to-heart with her mother, and much of her anger and hate died. One their last day there, Scorpia promised to return and help her mother rule the tribe. Gemini, on the other hand, kidnapped her half-brother and took him with her, in order to save his life.
He was tested, but was not a Jedi, so he chose to be a military pilot instead.
The warlike Femene Warri attempted to capture yet another tribe for their collection. But they picked the wrong tribe. They attacked a violent species called the Horukz, who, instead, defeated the Femene, and used a bomb that not only blew up the entire species of Femene, but wiped out most of the planet, excluding some species of bugs and amphibians. Hearing of the disaster, Gemini and Scorpia forced Cane to fly them back home, under the impression that there were still survivors. They were too late. The entire species was dead, and the planet was nearly barren.
They returned home in grief. Gemini and Cane eventually recovered. Scorpia, although she pretended she did, never truly got over her grief.
The Centauris met up with Anakin again, but Gemini and Cane were both called away to a battle between the underworld of crime, and some feisty bounty hunters. In their absence, Anakin and Scorpia became good friends. When Anakin became Darth Vader, Scorpia became Darth Leurc. Grieving the loss of her sister, Gemini and Cane exiled themselves along with Obi Wan Kenobi and Master Yoda. Gemini was exiled because she was a Jedi, and would be killed by the Siths if she was found, and Cane refused to serve the corrupt empire. Darth Vader and Leurc eventually grew appart, and although they still get along, they are rarely seen together.
AFTER STAR WARS: THE DARK TIMES: (Movies IV, V, and VI)
Years later, Gemini was presumed dead by Obi Wan and Yoda, and Cane was one of the Rebels. Gem was, in fact, alive and hiding on the Jungle planet of Ention. Later, she met up with her brother, and joined the rebels a little while after Luke did. At first, she told no one she was a Jedi, but later on, she revealed her true identity and began to talk to the spirits of Yoda and Obi Wan. When she sensed no danger, she even began having conversations with her sister, Vader, and Darth Sidious to attempt to find a peaceful solution. She did not, however, reveal her location. When Luke Skywalker went to go fight his father, Gemini went with him to confront her sister, and to see Anakin again.
Gemini fought her sister and lost terribly. To save her life, she was forced to retreat. She met up with Luke and a dying Anakin later on and she and Anakin said their good-byes. She escaped the death star, and assumed her sister dead in the explosion. However, later on, Anakin’s spirit told Gemini, Cane, and Luke that there was one Sith left: Scorpia. She had escaped the death star in one of the ships.
AFTER STAR WARS SERIES END: Legacy (‘Episode VII’)
Gemini and Cane attempted to track her down, but never found her. Because Femene Warri don’t age quickly, Gemini and Cane outlived Luke and still looked exactly as they had 130 years ago. They continued to remain loyal to each other and to the New Republic. Unfortunately, there was corruption in the government again, and while the Jedi, including Gemini, were forced to retreat, Cane stayed with the military, attempting to destroy it from the inside out. Gemini now waits for the day when she will have to fight and destroy her sister. However, it remains to be seen if she can truly kill Scorpia, for the sisters hold an undying loyalty to each other.
