Eirra soared higher into the sky, her wings flapping heavily as the clung to Louvre’s body. She lowered her head, and swore; the chunk of wall that she’d destroyed had collided with the ground, leaving a large crater. She hadn’t meant to cause that much damage. Her eyes scanned the rest of the chaos below. Eons were fighting for their lives against the scientists, who in turn were fighting for their jobs. The German Sheppard that had appeared before Eirra not 1 minute ago was darting away from the gaping hole in the side of the school. The dragon that had saved her life was also out of the building, disappearing into the crater Eirra had accidently made. The gargoyle narrowed her eyes, and peered deeply into the crater. Was that… a tunnel? A tunnel underneath the school? What the hell was going on? Eirra curved her wings and prepared to swoop down and investigate it, but she never made it. A large rock came spinning out of seemingly nowhere, crashed into her left side, and knocked her severely off course. Frantically, Eirra changed the angle of her wings, and smashed onto the school’s roof. She lost her grip on Louvre, and his body thumped on the roof, a couple feet away. “-the hell?” Eirra muttered as she pushed herself up from the roof. She was unhurt, except for a throbbing in her knee and some blood that speckled her mouth and face from where her fang had slashed open her lip. Eirra’s eyes darted wildly around, attempting to identify her attacker. “Eirra.” A calm, surly voice sounded from in front of her, and Eirra’s eyes focused on the source of the voice; a young man shadowed almost completely in the night. “Darius?” Eirra recognized her brother. “Where’ve you been? I thought-” Eirra stopped short. Partly because she was so exhausted and tired she had no idea what she had thought, but mostly because Darius had a gun pointed at her chest. “Darius, what are you doing?” Shivers trembled Eirra’s spine, as the gleam in Darius eyes glowed with determination. “This is the only way. I’m so tired… and everything is going to have to end.” Darius was speaking, but Eirra couldn’t interpret what he was saying. It seemed as if he was simply rambling incoherently, not really focusing on what he was saying. “Darius.” Eirra snapped. “Stop being an idiot, and put the gun down. It’s me, it’s your sister, Eirra. We have to go, Darius.” Darius shook his head. “No… leaving… running… going… they’re all illusions. Illusions of a reality that can no more be proven then the existence of a ghost. We’re in a phantom reality, Eirra. But I’m getting out.” Eirra’s blood chilled, and she looked at the gun in her brother’ hand. Then she looked into her brother’s eyes. Beneath the glow of determination, there was the flare of an unholy madness. Eirra felt her heart sink. “Oh, Darius…” she whispered, though even as she spoke the words, she knew she was not addressing her brother, but the insanity that gripped him. “What have you done to yourself?” A smile contorted up Darius face. “I’ve done what you’re to craven to do, dearest sister. I’ve won.” His finger tightened around the trigger of the gun. Eirra took a deep steadying breath. She had to react, and she had to react immediately. There was no type to weep over the brother she’d lost, no time to rage over the madness that had stolen him from her. She had to accept it. If she was going to survive the night, she had to accept that her brother was, for now, an enemy. “Oh, Darius… I’m so sorry.” And with those words, Eirra did something she had never done before: she went down to a crouch, and curved her tail in an upward arch, slicing at her brother’s arm. Darius cried in pain, and the gun clattered to the roof, hot blood dripping on it. Almost immediately, Darius’ wound healed, leaving him healthy and infuriated. “You bitch!” He snarled, and lunged at her. Eirra met him halfway, and the two creatures went spiraling into the sky, amid a frantic beating of wings, swiping of claws, and the crimson cries that fell from their bodies.

Name: Shyria Dracnoir Location: Institute Forest When: Autumn, Nightfall Acquaintences: Met Thadius and Apogee and knows Hollow is bound to one of the students in the school thanks to Apogee, but does know any of the other Eons Past Events: Escape from School Objective: Locate Hollow and any other evil beings possibly in the school, assist friendly Eons if need be Note: Shyria is sympathetic to the Eons, but is still wary about becoming too greatly involved if it means disclosing her origins. Also, Typhos himself is not at the school because he's currently engaged at another facility. However, he will most likely show up later, especially once/if the discovery is made that Hollow's host has vanished
The commotion in the sky and on the ground drew the attention of another being hiding in the forest bordering the perimeter of the school grounds. A sharp-eyed observer could pick out a large, reptilian shape moving softly to the forest's edge.
Shyria gazed at the scene of the ruined building with concern. From her conversings with the shadow being and his associate she knew what sort of evil went on in the school's depths. She could also sense the presence of Hollow somewhere in the building. She had to focus harder to pinpoint her exat location. She wasn't prepared for what happened when she did; the shock of emotion hit her like a crowbar. Shyria recoiled from the thoughts that poured from Hollow's mind. Rage...bloodlust...insanity. Shyria could only pray for the strength to encounter such a creature and for the strength she would need if she were to use Hollow to locate her true foe....And yet, buried beneath Hollow's hatred Shyria could still sense another; a being she could only assume to be the host Apogee speculated about. More than anything, Shyria was determined to free this poor wretch from the evil that bound it.
Before she fully severed the empathetic link between her and the outer reaches of Hollow's mind, Shyria divined the locations of the two Eons she had met earlier. They were close to the beast's location; possible allies if such a need arose. Her will decided, Shyria bound through the trees, following the forest's edge to the far end of the facility. There was blood to be shed tonight...

Tusami felt herself fall much longer than she should have fallen. When she finally hit the ground, she exclaimed her surprise and discomfort with a loud yelp and rolled to the side in attempt to allow the impact to be softened on her body. Ow. But she didn't have too much time to sit there as here came Sorin, tumbling down after her. She quickly darted out of the way, slinking down to all fours. "Are you alright Sorin?" But she already knew that he would be. It was dark, very dark. Not to mention damp and cold and wet and it smelled. Tusami snorted to get the bulk of the sent out of her nose and perked up her ears to listen. When they jumped out from the side of the building, they had somehow landed into a hole; a hole most likely made from all the damage they had caused and this hole is most likely connected to the drainage pipes that run underground throughout the entire city. In fact, she once had to live down here.
"We've got to get out of here and back on the surface to help the others." She stood up and walked over from where they had fallen and peered out into the opening. They probably weren't going to get out the way they came. She knew Sorin's wings wouldn't have enough room to allow him to fly back up and there wasn't any obvious way to climb out either. Her glowing eyes swiveled to gaze down the passageway. "I guess we go that way."

Only muffled yells from the other side of the school were heard from where Kama/Hallow was. Blood dripped from Hallow's fangs and paws as she gave a insane grin at the slain scientists she ran into not so long ago. Hallow slowly opened her muzzle and soon out came a insane laughter of joy and killing of pleasure.
"Oh My My My! This...feels...WONDERFUL!!! How long as it been since I've shed someone's blood?" Hallow continued to laugh as she left the wrecked bodies of the poor scientists and headed towards the direction of, unfortantly Taro.

Shyria had reached the end of the school Hollow was terrorizing, but she still saw no sign of the entity, though she could hear its insane laughter drawing closer. She could see a figure crouched on a storage shed, but she was too far off to discern any details about his appearance, even with her eyesight. Noting that the field that existed between the school building and the forest's edge appeared devoid of others-most of the Eons were making their escape from the opposite end of the structure-she slunk closer to the Institute building....

Kaito continued to circle his target, lapping up the excitement of watching Taro spin in circles, scanning the horizon, but still not spotting him. He gave a low hiss, and sprang off the rooftop across the street to follow Taro up the structure, landing neatly on the wall, climbing slowly. It seemed that this Eon was telepathic, but it was mostly static in his mind. Ever since Roth began messing with the signal for eclipse commands, his mind was unable to make clear sense of anything.
He peered over the edge of roof and rose slowly, to meet the Eon head on. "Surprised to see me?" he rhetorically inquired, beginning to slowly circle the Eon, whose eyes were blood red, he seemed more than ready to fight. "Down boy." Kaito said almost playfully, a huge grin crossing his face. "Why is it that you run from me? But more importantly, what is it that drives you to resist LIGHT, and all things associated with it? Do you judge me on my affiliations?" he questioned, preparing himself for if the Eon decided to lunge. "You were much more of a challenge to track down than the others. This was almost fun, but now your time has come."

Not to far from Taro was a slow and evil cackle of pleasure and evilness. Red insane eyes spotted him and a ugly clawed paw stepped forward revealing none other than Hallow. She was still smiling and licked her chops from the tainted blood that was still all over her muzzle.
"Seems that...I may have room for....dessert?" But before she could get a hold of Taro, a scientist rushed towards her with a unusual gun that held tranquilizers full of liquids that could easily put a Eon to sleep. But, Hallow wasn't THAT easy to take down by a mere mortal weapon. She opened up her jaws a bit wider to clamp down her vicious fangs into the helpless scientist.

He watched the creature drip blood from its eyes, pondering why such a thing would happen. Was it a form of self defense? Was it preparing for an attack? It seemed to be preoccupied with something else. The eclipse signal from LIGHT kept telling him to kill all the escaping Eons and capture the useful ones, but that command was brushed aside by Roth's commands, counteracting LIGHT's. This was one of the rare times he had free will, if ever. There was something else in his head too, something that seemed to be picking through his brain, searching. "Wait a minute, what are you going?" He demanded from the Eon in front of him. "What are you doing?!" He started to panic. Should he stay to see what happened? Should he climb down? Jump off and end his life before this Eon did? He wanted to run, break contact, but he found he was frozen in place. Was this the Eons doing? No. He was frozen with fear. He was truly afraid of what could happen, but at the same time curious. He never had the chance to interact with any other Eon. Curiosity killed the cat, but it also was the uprising of the human race. He watched more blood drip from the jackals eyes, wondering if it tasted good.

Hearing no response from Taro, Thad turned to Apogee. "Get them to safety, get them all out of here. I'm going to find Taro and help him."
Apogee nodded and started moving the children towards the woods. Once there, the scientists would quickly lose them in the undergrowth.
Thad launched himself into the sky and performed a scan of the school. Taro was on some sort of storage shed, and also in great danger. Thad quickly flew over there and landed behind Taro. "You okay, Taro? The calvary has just arrived." Then he took stock of those around him.
In front of him was Kaito, though he was not himself, and Thad seriously doubted that he would be able to get Kaito to back away without a fight. And another was there as well...one that he could only assume was the 'dark entity' that Shyria had been after. Unless he could take them on one at a time, there would be very little chance he'd walk away. Nonetheless, he had to protect Taro. He formed a bolt of darkness, held it in his right hand, and looked at the others. "I suggest you back away, boys and girls, before I'm forced to play my hand."

Eirra turned her head in the direction of Hallow’s screams, distracted for enough amount of time that Darius got in a swipe at her face. “Ah!” Eirra cried as the Darius’ fingernails stung her. It was more a cry of surprise then of fear; Darius really hadn’t done much damage yet, though Eirra was finding herself growing angrier and angrier at the fact that her brother had pointed a gun at her. With a renewed strength, she shoved the vampire away from her, long enough to shout, “What the hell is wrong with you, Darius!? Why the hell the gun?” A smile played across Darius lips, the glint of madness still burning in his eyes. “You don’t get it?” He shot back. “Don’t you realize?!” His wings beat heavily in the air, keeping him aloft, and he hovered closer to his sister. “Listen to me, Eirra. I figured it out. If I- If I kill you, Louvre- he’ll stop looking for us! We’ll be free, sister! At last, free!!” “Yes,” Eirra snarled. “But I’ll be dead!” Darius shook himself. “No, no. I can bring you back from the dead. I can resurrect your soul! You’d need a new body… another’s Eon’s probably. But I can transfer your soul using vampiric energy and spiritual manipulation into a different body, and then we can be free.” Eirra stared at Darius, a blank look fixed on her face. Darius sighed. “You think I’m crazy. I’m not. I’ve thought this through.” “I don’t think you’re crazy, Darius. I think you’re F_CKING INSANE!! What the hell are you thinking?!? You’ve LOST it!” Eirra swooped at Darius again, and the battle resumed with fervor. However, each knew it was a useless battle. Every cut Eirra made on Darius’ body was healed completely in a matter of seconds. And Eirra’s skin was that of a full-blooded gargoyle- it would take more then Darius claws to cause any real damage, although he had left some think scratches that stung slightly. Eirra knew she needed to end that battle before her energy was completely used up. She wanted to get down and see what those horrible screams were coming from, and why the heck there were tunnels beneath the school. Gritting her teeth, Eirra locked her claws on Darius frantically slashing arms, and arched her tail up in a large curve, and without any more thought, slashed her blade through Darius thigh, deeper and larger then she had ever cut him before. It worked…. Sort of. Darius screamed in pain and doubled over, blood dripping from his pants. The wound healed within moments, but the pain continued throbbing. Eirra pushed herself away from her brother, satisfied that he was disabled, and turned to descend to the ground. Unfortunately for her, Darius’ anger at his wound slashed at overrode his pain. With an inhumane roar, he lunged at her, latched his hand on her should and spun her around. His fangs grew, his eyes blazed, and with the same wrath and severity that Eirra had injured him with, he went at her face. His left fang hit it’s mark, and tore a gash at the side in the side of Eirra’s face. Eirra had an excellent resistance to pain, but this time, it wasn’t just blood that began to drip down her cheek, but vampiric poison that was injected into her body. Eirra cried out as her face burned, and she clutched at her wound desperately. Acting purely on instinct, her tail swung up again, and entangled itself around Darius neck. With a firm jerk, she sent him spiraling to the roof of the school. Darius landed in a heap next to Louvre’s body, and his head cracked against the concrete. Eirra’s fingers went to her face, and she brought them away to observe her blood. It was the healthy red color, as always, but this time, there was also a purple liquid mixed in with. Vampire venom, Eirra knew. She grimaced. What a bastard! How dare he attack her like that! How dare he bite her! Fury welled up in Eirra’s chest, and her fists clenched into balls. The screams met her ears again, and Eirra wheeled her body and swooped down towards them. The wound on her face was deep, but not bad enough so that she couldn’t fight. Her rage at Darius would have to wait. The site on the ground was an unusual one. A group of Eons were gathered in a specific area. Eirra gave them a once over. Two of them, she couldn’t make out very well in the night; strange for a gargoyle, but she paid it no mind. She could tell by the general body shapes that it was the ones called Thadius and Apogee. She had only seen them around school, never spoken to them. The other creature, she didn’t recognize- a fierce looking mutant with several legs. She had a strange suspicion that she’d seen him once before, but where, she couldn’t say. The other one was a jackal hybrid, kneeling weakly on the ground, a pool of blood at his feet, his bloody eyes fixed on the mutant with a lot of legs. Squinting her eyes (her eyes seemed oddly clouded), she was barely able to make out the form of Taro. Another Eon she hadn’t really spoken too, but she knew who he was. Darius’ roommate, if she was correct. She’d seen him and Darius together once or twice. She made a mental note to herself to ask him about Darius later. The last Eon looked like a white wolf, snarling and foaming at the mouth, a glint in her eyes. Eirra didn’t know this one, either. She really didn’t have much of a social life. Normally, Eirra would have checked the area more, taking note of the surroundings, attempting to identify the other Eons, seeing what dangers there were. But Eirra didn’t feel like herself. She felt angry, but her anger felt different. More… fiery… more… out of control. She felt an unholy and wrathful rage that seemed to consume her and cloud her thoughts. In short, she really, really wanted to attack something, and since Darius and Louvre were both unconscious on the school roof, the most logical thing to attack seemed to be the snarling wolf facing Taro. With a thrust of her wings, Eirra sped past Taro, calling out to him, “When you’re done bleeding, I want to know what the hell is wrong with my brother!” And then, without pausing to gauge his reaction or receive a response, Eirra threw herself full speed ahead into the wolf, claws sharp, fangs bared.
In retrospect, it would most likely prove to be a pretty bad idea, but it seemed to be a good idea at the time, and that was all Eirra cared about.

With the split second that the distraction provided, Thad summoned a large spear of dark energy and held it in his right hand. "Now Kaito, you can either sit right there and be a good little boy, or I can shove this painfully into your anatomy. Either way, I will enjoy it, and have no problems doing it either. Before was different, I was obligated to serve and protect. Now? I protect who I want to, meaning your life means less to me than you can possibly imagine."

Hallow finished her meal with the unfortunate scientist and howled in the air laughing insanely. She suddenly felt something else was trying to fight inside of her mind. With a growl and a snap of her jaws, Hallow looked back at the bleeding Taro and Kaito and ran off in the other direction.

Shyria knew she had to act fast; she could tell the jackal Eon on the roof was trying to probe Hollow's mind as well as that of another, newly arrived entity. His interference had spooked Hollow off but the other was still there, and the Eon was fading fast. Shyria decided to intervene; she bounded up behind Thadius and concentrated her healing spells on the Eon at his feet.
"Do not worry, I am a friend" Shyria spoke mentally to Taro before roaring a challenge at the creature confronting the group. Hollow would have to wait....

*stepping out of character for a moment*Alright, Taro said he was on the roof (starting from the shed). I followed him to the roof. Thad's post suggests that we are on the shed still, and Eirra says we're on the ground. So, where are we? >_>*back into RP mode* The scene before him seemed oddly blurry, and he felt something probe into his mind and then something lift from him. He didn't remember much, so he was very confused. Suddenly a strange human appeared between him and the Jackal Hybrid dripping blood from his eyes. Had he done that to the Eon? He didn't know what to do, so he just stood there. (stepping out of Char again... Thadius, how do you know me?) The Human held up a spear of shadow and threatened him, but why? What had he done? Was he in trouble for hurting the Eon? The human, or maybe an Eon, started to draw back the spear menacingly, so he jumped out of pure instinct and sailed through the air and began to fall. He fell the height of the school and watched the ground sail up towards him. It came closer and closer, then suddenly, everything went dark.

[OOC]: ... I'm confused, too. I thought we were on the ground? Oh well, whatever. If someone can tell me where we are, lol, I can modify my posts accordingly. Right now, though, I'm going to go with 'we're on the roof'. Like I said, tell me when we decide where we are, and I'll change everything xD Also, Kaito, we should talk if Darius knows you or not: it may come into play later in the rp. Anyways-
[Into character]:
Eirra blinked as, instead of hitting the white fur and warm body of the wolf, she collided into the roof at full force, getting a mouthful of concrete in the process. She pushed herself to her feet, and shook off. "Hey!" she snarled at the wolf. "Get back here!" A shiver ran down her spine; for some reason, she felt... enraged. She'd never felt such a strong anger before- no, that's not true, she realized. She felt this anger when she went into her 'angry' state and lost all control of her actions. But this was different. She felt that rage. but she was in full control of herself. She lifted her hand, and flinched as she wiped the dirt on her face off, her fingers coming back with blood. She stared in shock at the blood. It was undeniably from the wound Darius had given her, but why hadn't it clotted yet? The quenstion answered itself as Eirra rememebed that vampires carried a venom that stopped the wound from closing; his bite wouldn't kill her, but it would hurt like hell for the next several hours or so. Furiously, Eirra swore, and wiped around, looked around for something to attack. She had to get this rage out of her body. She had to bite something, to hurt something. She noticed the group of mutants off to her side. The strange creature, the one with many legs, had just jumped off the side of the building; it had looked like the other Eons had attempted to kill him, but why? Shaking with the might of her anger, Eirra scanned the group, looking for someone to attack, anyone, just to get her anger out. Closest to her was the dragon. Ok, whatever, she thought, and launched herself at the dragon, teeth sharp, and claws flailing, once again.
