Modified rules for the rp! Please Read before posting!
OK guys, I forgot to put down some rules and info. Tusami and I talked about it in Nabraska...
1. You can not put yourself into the movie. 2. No role playing or interacting with characters from the movies, they have their own storylines that are already created and you can't change that. (Yes I know that I broke that rule, so I am going to erase that part. Davy Jones will be the only possible character but used only if you die at sea or have any deals or bounty's with him. But still, no breaking rules or do anything that will be effecting/changing his storyline.) 3. The RPG is taking place BEFORE the movies. Around 1691 4. You can use the islands from the movie. (They are real, they just have new names now. Like Tortuga is actually Jamaica.) 5. We will keep it at about 4-5 Ships. I don't want a billion ships going and everyone's a captain. It is less fun. 6. Give very specific detail. 7. You may go anywhere in the world but we prefer if we stay near or in the Caribbean. 8. If you are a Pirate, you must live by the code. (Yes there is such thing as the Pirates Code. I will put it up soon.) 9. You may have historical persons mentioned but you can't rp with them.
Ok that is about it. Oh there are 3 ships so far. Shirya's, Taro's, and mine. We can have one more. The rest of you can either be a first mate, (which is close to captain: If the captain dies then the first mate is captain.) a crew member, a peasant, ect. (No Kings, the kings will be same as history.) If you object to something then live with it. JK, just ask me and we can maybe work it out. This is also a realistic rpg and you must be human. Tusami says: Actually, it seems that we should allow people to be whatever species they wish because it's a popular opinion and will be more interesting a fun. I'll talk to Sorin at school seeing as he hasn't been on here for awhile since I want to join thr rp too... yeah. We'll figure this out and get it going again.
As the sun set upon the watery horizon, Sorin looked at his compass and began his way east. He thought of his troubled past with the English, but he would have to stay low profile. As he made his way to Tortuga, he put the rope around the helm and headed for his quarters. He made his way down the steps from the stern. He saw that the flag was still waving high. He then ordered his crew to bring it down for they were entering British waters. Then went back into his cabin to check the sea charts for the right course. Then fled back out to hear the sound of his man yelling "Ship ahoy!"

(If I may do the honors of rping Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones? I have a pirate character of my own. ^^; )
Out in the dreaded stormy part of the ocean was the "FLYING DUTCH MAN". There was the crew of the cursed, Davy Jones, but only one person aboard was no part of a fishy curse. A young girl, her name was Kamakazi Sparrow. Oh she did have a curse alright, but it was a terrible curse. She was being forced down to the ship by powerful winds of the storm.
"Is this place nessesary to "relax", Davy?!" yelled Kama as she held her bandanna.
The captian of the "Flying Dutch Man" looked over at her and gave out a powerful laughter.
"Is it a wee bit to strong for ya?! But...if you wish to go some where else, that, we can do!" Davy yelled back.

As Sorin looked to the stern of the great ship the Kingdom Star, (One of the most amazing ships built in Singapore. It was to be given to the king of Singapore. But while it was docked at Shang Sea Dock, Sorin crept his way up from the water silently, and cast her off.) He then saw the Dutchmen not far behind him. He had hoped that it was only after a ship that had been keel hold. As his crew turned frightened he said " Not be a worry, Davy may be after another ship lad's." But in his mind he remembered the day when he almost was taken to by Jones, but had jumped off the Dutchmen and swam to shore. " He could still be after me." Sorin said silently to him self. And continued on his way to Tortuga for a new first mate. (I still need a first mate)

As Sorin saw the Dutchman get farther from his ship, he made his way down the steps off the helm deck and into his quarters. He then opened and shut the door behind him. As he entered his cabin filled with lamps, a large bed to the right, with the small dresser to the left, close to a trunk filled with his belongings, and his desk at the back, he sat on the blue felted chair at his desk and thought of what to do of his secret problem. But that was not as important as geting to Tortuga. He unroled his Pirate charts and began looking at his compass. He then noticed that they were not as far as he thought. He continued his course tell he reach the out skirts of Tortuga. The men threw the small dingy boat into the water. Sorin climed down the ladder to the boat and his crew began to row. After a long 10 min, he reached the docks of Tortuga Bay. Luckly a Tavern was near. He made his was to the Tavern and sat down at the bar for a drink.

Shyria looked out over the bow of her ship at the sun slowly sinking on the horizon and adjusted the course of the small Oriental-style vessel to follow it. Her destination lay to the west, in the pirate city of Tortuga. She dreaded such close proximity to humans in general, but as wretched as they were, she found she prefered the freedom of the pirate lifestyle to virtual imprisonment in the colonies. Ever since she had come of age and left the hidden dragon lands to adventure in the worlds of men, much of her time had been spent as captain of the humble "Golden Dragon". Formerly a well-sized Chinese merchant junk, she and her crew had converted it into a scrappy pirate vessel. She suited their purposes well, and whatever the ship lacked in firepower, the crew more than compensated. See, Shyria and her crew were not exactly "human"....

Kama watched as the crew was walking around and maintaining the ship. Davy Jones walked up to her and put his claw right on her shoulder.
"Aie...seems that your a bit famished, my adoptive daughter?"
"First of all," Kama patted Davy's claw and slipped away, "call me Kama if you would please. And I'm not THAT hungry..." Kama soon heard her stomach growl and grabbed it. Davy Jones put on a smirk and ordered some of his men to make Kama some food.

OK here is the Pirate Code. It has been made into much easier way to under stand. It is the exact same as in the movie because, the movie uses the exact code, but like I said easier to read and under satnd.
1.The right to declare parley, in which the person who declared it is to be taken to the enemy captain for negotiations and is to remain unharmed by his crew until such time. [Although it is supposedly of French derivation and is pronounced "par-LAY," the code spells it as "parlay" as opposed to an orthodox French spelling] 2.Mutiny against the captain of a pirate ship is an unthinkable crime: "the deepest circle of hell is reserved for betrayers and mutineers" 3.He who falls behind is left behind. 4.Only the Pirate King has the power to declare war and during the war, only the Pirate King has the right to declare parlay. 5.The Pirate King is elected by the nine Pirate Lords, with a plurality necessary for election. Anyone caught bribing are to be shot. 6.Take what you can, give nothing back. 7.A marooned pirate is given a pistol with a single shot with which to kill himself as opposed to starvation. Ok so if you are to partisipate you must obay the code. It is not that hard to live by. I am still working on geting a hold of the 17 century sea charts.

(A little late...but better that than never!)
Thadius made a minor course correction to more accurately steer his ship to Tortuga and not into, say, the land surrounding. "Men! We be near our goal!"
A vast chorus of yowls and cheers arose. Men streamed from belowdecks to see the sight of the port so close by, then held their stomachs and moaned.
"Harharhar, you're all seasick felines! Now get on land and don't come back without some valuable information! I want to know shipments of gold and valuables, not merely food and expeditions!"
Docking nearby and leaving an odd dozen or so crewmen to guard the ship against intruders, Pirate Captain Thadius went ashore, leaving first mate Fredrick 'Foxy' Fenderson in charge of the ship. Not many people knew the dangers of The Wildcat, seeing as it had guns in the most unusual places. And they even had someone on their crew who constantly mixed up new things to shoot.
(Edited once I saw me and my crew had to be human. I wanted were-felines, darnit. Oh well, guess I'll deal. And though I may be using their names, rest assured I will NOT be using my character's powers.)

Um... Blake DID have a ship, but when his story begins, it's already crashed and won't sail again. Sorin, you said you didn't want a lot of ships going, and since Blake's isn't techniqually going, can he still have it? He will never sail it in the RPG, and he probably won't even talk about it, he doesn't discuss his past much. So.... is that OK? ... It's part of his histroy, not the actual RPG, and he's KINDA like a person living in a town nearby... sorta... keep reading, I guess.
(Edit: I won't elt him have another ship either in the course of the RPG. Towards the end of his story, he will get another ship, but the end of his story does not happen in the RPG)
Quick Detail-
Name: Blake the Bloodthirsty Occupation: Pirate Age: 21 Physical Appearance: He’s rather tall and gangly. He has wild, long blond hair that falls into his eyes, and he’s growing a little pony tail out the back. He has strange eyes: One is blue, the other green. He dresses all in red, hence the title of Bloodthirsty. He is never without his gun and sword. Brief History: He was born to a small fishing village, so he grew up on the sea. After the king took his family’s money and fish and everything else (everything they needed to survive and support themselves), he grew angry and tried to get his father to rise against the king. His father called him a fool, and so Blake ran away and became a cabin boy for a pirate ship. When he was older, he left that ship and bought his own, “The Golden Sacrifice” (before you tell me 'no more ships', keep reading, please). He then sailed the seas, plundering and stealing with his gang, until a mighty storm came up. It destroyed his ship and killed his crew mates, as well as stranded Blake on the deserted island that he is now on:
Blake sits on a beach and stares at his boat. Rather, he stares at what is left of his boat. In front of him the severely damaged hull of what used to be Blake’s Ship, “The Golden Sacrifice”. The hull is dark brown from the sea water, and sea weed clings to it. Holes decorate the wood, and it is clear the “The Golden Sacrifice” will never sail again, and a pirate without a ship is hardly a pirate at all. The beach Blake has crashed into is an average one. The sands are white, and there are a few palm trees scattered across the surface. Behind him is the thick tangle of a lush jungle. It looks uninhabited, at least where Blake is. (Note: Blake has landed on what is now the Cayman Islands, not far from Jamaica). Blake checks his pockets and pulls out what he has. His compass is shattered, so he tosses it away. His eyeglass is also broken. His knife has snapped near the hilt, and, although he managed to cling onto his hat, it is ratty, dirty, and severely torn, with the feather gone. Blake would be embarrassed to wear it now. Worst of all, his small bag of gold is missing, lost in the depths of sea. Blake groans, and continues looking through his clothes. The only things still intact are his sword, gun, and some bullets. Deeper in his pockets, he finds his log book, quill, and ink have, amazingly, survived the storm. “Well, that’s something.” Blake mutters. He stands up, and stretches, and surveys the area. He considers going into the jungle to find food and shelter, but then again, there are… ‘things’ in the jungle, and Blake has little wish to come in contact with anything that might prove fatal, such as a carnivorous monster, a poisonous plant, or an angry native for example. On the other hand, out here on the beach, he had no food, shelter, or water. Blake sighs, and puts his sword in its sheath and hooks his gun to his belt. He utters a soft swear word, and then heads towards the jungle, and pauses before it, still reviewing his options. Finally, he comes to a decision. Taking his sword, Blake goes to the edge of the woods and cuts up some of the jungle foliage, using his sword. He brings it to the edge of the beach, above the tide, and piles it up. Taking two sticks, he rubs them together vigorously. The sun is high in the sky when he finally gets a spark and the wood ignites. As it begins to burn, Blake runs off, and chops some more wood to feed the fire. He feeds it until it is one of the biggest bonfires he’s ever seen. He sets the soaking wet log book by the open flame to help it dry. He then hacks up some more wood and makes makeshift tee-pee, temporary shelter for the night. He also cuts some other wood up- preparation in case he must make a raft. He then looks at the sky. The sun seems to be sinking farther towards the horizon; it’s almost evening. Fine, the fire will be seen better at night, anyways. Blake goes to his shelter, which is set up about a yard and a half from the fire, taking his log, quill, and ink with him. He settles down in the sand and writes in his log:
The Journal of Captain Blake
Log Number 301
Entry- the golden sacrafise reked on unnown iland, she’ll not sale agen, cru gon, posiblee ded, feerin four ther lievs, wur gud men, gud mats, if ther lievs ar laust, i hav fayled them n mey i bee cursd too whateree grave furevrmoor, made fi-er, hav shelter, hoepin sum-won wil sea an rescu me, need too get too tortuga, if no-won arivs by tomarow, wil venchure intoo the jungel, if al els fayls, i must bild a raft an sale the sea too tortuga, wil continyu too look four the peeruhmed uv dreems, end entree.
[glow=red,2,300]Edit- The easy version reads: The Golden Sacrifice has wrecked on an unknown island. She will not sail again. The crew is gone, possibly dead. I fear for their lives. They were good men, good mates. If their lives are lost, then I have failed them and may I be cursed to the watery grave forevermore. I made a fire. I have shelter. I am hoping that someone will see and rescues me, for I need to get to Tortuga. If no one arrives by tomorrow, I will venture into the jungle. If all else fails, I must build a raft to sail the sea to Tortuga. I will continue to look for the Pyramid of Dreams. End of Entry.[/glow]
Blake sets down his pen and quill, and, with a sigh, lies in the sand, his eyes desperately scanning the seas for a ship of any sort.

Tureal sat in the inn staring out the window onto the setting sun, sipping his rum. Ever since Captian Frodrick outcast him for suspected mutiny, his life had done not but decline. He still had his Cutlass on his hip, even though it served no purpose anymore...
He frowned at the last few sips in his tankard and sloshed it around, pondering his future when four black dots on the horizon caught his eye. Perhaps he could find a crew to join this time.
